Iris "Ace" Acevedo is a Miami-born and bred wardrobe stylist/occasional designer with a penchant for pushing outside of Miami's fashion envelope. With 7 years of fashion styling experience, combined with 10 years of corporate fashion production development and management under her belt, she understands fashion from concept, to sampling, to showrooms, to production, to sales floor merchandising, which lends well-roundedness to her intuitive creative styling perspective.
"The wider world perceives fashion sometimes as a frivolity that should be done away within the face of social upheavals and problems that are enormous. The point is, in fact, that it’s the armor to survive the reality of everyday life. I don’t think you could do away with it (fashion). It would be like doing away with civilization." -Bill Cunningham
